Abiding Love Companionship offers nation-wide companion and respite services for families who care for a loved ones, both temporary and long term, as well as travel support.

Visiting Short-term Companionship & Care

Metaphysical Support

Read the Lesson and The Bible, Christian Science materials, playing hymns and uplifting talks.


Nourishing Meal Preparation

Wholesome, balanced home-cooked food prepared with care.


Helpful Household Support

Light cleaning, laundry, and home organization.


Daily Routine Support 

Dignified prompts to complete a fulfilling day.
 

Transportation

Safe travel to appointments and errands, assistance through activities.

Nurturing conversations and activities that uplift the spirit.

Short-term Respite Services

Overnight and ongoing coverage (up to 14 days) provided while:

  • family or caregivers are away or need a rest;

  • temporary help is needed while healing is taking place.

Travel Assistance

We assist clients with going to church, attending Association, visiting family, taking a much-needed trip, and details such as:

  • helping to draft itineraries including planning and research;

  • helping to find reservations for travel;

  • airport, train or bus companionship.

In addition to our Visiting Short-term offerings, we're able to offer the following for those living on the central eastern coast of Florida:

  • recurring visits or one-time stop-in, as frequently as you need;

  • from one hour up to multi-day visits;

  • providing regular emotional and social engagement;

  • ongoing support for daily routines.

What's Not Included

The following are outside the scope of care due to training or ability:

  • care that requires a trained Christian Science nurse;

  • care that requires a trained registered nurse;

  • hands-on personal care

  • intruding on the private relationship between the loved one and their family or the primary health care professional;

  • assuming responsibility for a loved one’s financial or household transactions;

  • assuming responsibility for health care decisions, diagnosis or prognosis;

  • managing medication or providing treatment.
